This cocktail has all the ingredients that are really unique and tastes just awesome. Interestingly, the ingredients comprise Moroccan Mint, sugar especially from South Pacific, and ice from the Arctic Circle.
All these ingredients are mixed together with Woodford Reserve bourbon. And the most special part of the cocktail is that it is served in a silver Tiffany & Co glass. Original Mai Tai
It is believed that the best and the most expensive Mai Tai is been served at the Merchant Hotel. This Polynesian drink is invented by Trader Vic’s in 1944. The drink was then introduced by Merchant Hotel using the same ingredients.
The drink is prepared by blending exceptionally rare J.Ray & Nephew’s rum with French Garnier Orgeat, Holland Dekuyper Orange Curacao, rocky candy syrup and fresh lime juice. You can get a sip of Original Mai Tai by spending $1,270.
Platinum Passion is considered as one of New York’s most expensive cocktails. The cocktail is served at the Duvet, New York City by mixing Ruinart Champagne with syrup that is made by combining berries, passion fruit, honey, brown sugar, and L’esprit de Courvoisier.
Platinum Passion is served in a stylish frosted Champagne flute garnished with an orchid on the top of the glass. You have to pay around $6,000 to enjoy this drink.
This cocktail is named after the Hotel Ritz-Paris which is famous for serving most expensive sidecar cocktails. Moreover, the Hotel Ritz-Paris has invented the concept of sidecar cocktails. The Ritz-Paris Sidecar is made by mixing Cointreau and lemon juice with the superb vintage champagne Cognac.
Most amazing thing about this cocktail is that it uses the champagne Cognac which got manufactured between the years 1830 and 1870 around World War II. It comes with a heavy price tag of $1,670.
Sapphire Martini was a signature drink at Foxwood Resort Casino’s in 2006. The name itself says about the colour of the drink i.e. blue. Sapphire Martini is prepared by blending Bombay Sapphire Gin, dry vermouth, orange flavoured liquor dyed blue, with blue sugar around the rim of the glass. Earlier, it was priced around $24. Eyeing its popularity in bars, the price has gone up to $3,000. Interestingly, each glass of the drink is served with a set of sapphire and diamond earrings which says why it is so expensive.
Diamond cocktail is named after the style of serving it. It is served with a diamond stone at the bottom of the drink. The drink is quite popular due to its unique flavour. This drink is even costlier than all the above cocktails as its uses a blend of cognacs like Charles Heidsieck Vintage 2001 Champagne, Remy Louis Martin XIII cognac, Angostura bitters that costs $1,000 per bottle.
It is served at Sheraton Park Hotel, London with a price tag of $4,350. The price may vary depending upon the gem served with the drink. Customers have the choice of selecting either diamond or ruby.
Martini on the Rock
This is another drink that comes from the vibrant New York City. It is served at the Algonquin Hotel in New York which has become even more famous due to the presence of Martini on the Rock in their menu. If you want to get a sip of this drink then you have to make 72-hour reservation and consultation with hotel jeweller.
Jeweller will explain you about the diamond that is served with the drink. Martini on the Rock may cost you $15,000 or more. This high price is due to the hard work involved to prepare this drink and of course due to the diamond present in it.
